Back pain is largely due to subluxations of the dorsal vertebrae. Even though it can be very painful (“stabbing pain in the back”), it is rarely serious and often very easy to treat.
Intercostal pain comes from a slight inflammation of a nerve that runs along a rib starting from the dorsal vertebra to which it is attached. This condition can affect even the youngest individuals, can cause sensations of breathlessness, and “side stitch” pain, and is very easily treatable with chiropractic care by addressing the root cause of the problem. This means removing the irritation at the root of the nerve, at the attachment point of the rib on the vertebra.
